The Wildlife Justice Commission will hold a side event at CITES CoP17 in Johannesburg:

Tackling rhino horn crime, from source to market

The interactive session will feature a panel of knowledgeable speakers, including:

  • Pauline Verheij, Senior Legal Investigator, Wildlife Justice Commission
    • Topic: “Wildlife Justice Commission findings on rhino horn trafficking in Vietnam”
  • Julian Rademeyer, investigative journalist and author of Killing for Profit
    • Topic: “Law enforcement challenges and the convergence between licit and illicit trade”
