Rosalia Katana has over 15 years of professional experience working in non-profit, start-up and for-profit organisations. Prior to joining the Wildlife Justice Commission, she was the Director of Finance and Operations at a Software Solutions Social Enterprise based in the US and Kenya. She provided leadership in human resources, finance and general administration of the organisation. Rosalia holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the United States International University and a First Class Honours bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting and is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Rosalia, who hails from Kenya, has personally witnessed the detrimental impact of wildlife crimes on both her community and the environment.
In November 2022, Ms. Katana joined the Wildlife Justice Commission as the Senior Controller and was subsequently promoted to the Director of Finance and Services (Acting) in May 2023.
